About
Nutri-Plus Fertilizer
Our Mission
Helping Farmers Since 1979
Nutri-Plus is a family-owned fertilizer company dedicated to serving farmers and co-ops with a foundation built on faith, family values, and a commitment to excellence. Established in the late 1970s by Ray Sinn, the company has remained a multigenerational enterprise. Gary (son of Ray Sinn) joined the business immediately after graduating high school in 1981, and he now operates Nutri-Plus alongside his younger brother Kurt.
Today, Nutri-Plus continues to grow with the involvement of younger generations who bring fresh energy and innovation to the company, ensuring its commitment for years to come. Rooted in a shared dedication to improving the land and serving the agricultural community, Nutri-Plus embraces advancements in products and application techniques to deliver the most efficient and effective solutions to farmers.
Serving parts of Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan, Nutri-Plus works primarily with corn, soybean, wheat, and alfalfa farmers. Our mission is to enhance soil health and boost yields for area farmers by providing cutting-edge fertilizers and personalized agronomic advice.
By working directly with end users, Nutri-Plus reviews soil tests to assess phosphorus, potash, lime, and micronutrient levels while taking soil pH and CEC into consideration. With faith, family, and innovation at its core, Nutri-Plus is proud to support the region’s farmers and help cultivate a brighter agricultural future.

GKS Farms
Local Family Farm
In addition to their fertilizer business, Gary and Kurt operate a 2,000-acre family farm that produces wheat, soybeans, and corn. The farm is a testament to the company's deep roots in agriculture and commitment to sustainable farming practices. Alongside crop production, they also manage a thriving hog operation, reflecting their dedication to diversifying and contributing to the agricultural community. The farm serves as both a testing ground for innovative/new products and a cornerstone of the family’s heritage in farming.
